Hi Allan,
Here's a prog that lets you test your temperatures.
If the fan's not working, they will be high.

Subject: [bcab] possible fan problem
Hello folks
when I came to boot up the other day, there was no sound from the tower,
there was no sound of the fan as usual, and there seemed no sign of
activity except that there was a slight heat at the top back of the tower.
I am just assuming that the fan has gone, although it could be something
else. If it is the fan, are they easy to replace?
cheers
Alan Michael Rayner
