[bcab] Re: pocket sized digital radio

I have a Ministry of Sound DR011 pocket DAB radio which I've had for quite a while now, I think just over 6 years which isn't bad for gadget life! I saw a few months back it was going for £80 which is less than what I payed but I bought it when they were new. I find using the radio very easy and setting and finding presets is easy. A general point for any movable DAB radio, if you tune it to a set of stations, for example the yorkshire multiplex and thaen take it to London you will have some blank stations so setting your presets is important. I often set certain stations not so much because I love that station but because it puts me near to others that I like. So setting a BBC station into your presets because it is near a few local stations is a good use of one of the ten presets in my opinion if you are often on the move.

Hi John

Some time ago Pure brought out a pocket-type dab radio called "The Move". Not sure whether it is still available or not. The battery life is good - approximately 40 hours. A friend of mine has one, so, if you need any further info, I can ask.

Hi everyone!

Has anyone had experience in using a pocket sized DAB radio? Any conclusions?

John
