Hi all.
I have been asked to help someone source and set up a new pc.
getting the new PC and installing a screenreader is fine, but she does not have
any office disks. She has Office 2000 on her old PC but she does not have the
disks for it. I do not know whether she used the disk of a friend or had it
preinstalled or what but quite understandably she does not really want to be
forced to learn a whole new ribbon bar interface for office 2007. My
understanding though is that she has no choice if she wants to stay legal other
than to go through this process of learning the ribbon bar which she
understandably in my view regards as a bit of a waste of time and a task she is
not keen on undertaking as she is not that into computers.
Is there anything she can do legally to get an old version of Word?
regards
Graham
