I think it might be a good idea for the newsletter and membership CD to
overlap. They could have same publication dates, with as you say a News
section on the CD.  However, we would still have to provide braille and
print versions of the Newsletter. I would suggest you talk to Eleanor about
the idea and discuss the matter at the AGM. Our members get very concerned
about the format the Newsletter come in as it is their newsletter.
Irrespective of how close the publications merge it would still be possible
to work to a similar schedule.
 
Put the matter on the agenda for January meeting.
