[bcab] Re: mp3 direct cut

Hi Tom, it sounds a bit obvious, but could it be windows media player's volume 
control?
In WMP, volume up is F9, volume down is F8, and mute is F7.  It is possible to 
press these by 
accident!

Anybody else using this one.  Was working before I got a new PC.

At a loss with this.  Using XP, Have installed the prog. When I record,
shows record time increasing as it should. Have input and output device set
to the default, realtek device on my machine, but, use only default not
checked. The mp3 direct cut devices are set to realtek as well. I have the
lame encoder.

Problem, when I try to play files, I get silence from windows media player.
Older progs with same mp3 direct cut are working as expected.

No error messages on opening files.
Any suggestions, perhaps another recorder.
