Steve I appear to have Abbyy Fine Reader version 6 sprint on both laptop
and desktop
I do not have Optica as explained. However I do have an Epson Scanner 3490
is that where it came from. It goes on about 'creativity suites and a huge
menu. I do not think my old Scanner Epson Perfection 1652 had that. I have
not known what to do with it.. are there any circumstances under which I may
need it? If for some reason Kurzweill11 went on strike? I had a fright
yesterday I was experimenting with Voices and found a very strong voice
called Emily a figure of 22 Hertz after her name, she literally yelled at
me swamping poor Kate. fiddled some more and a Danial popped up also a
belter! I found a whispering voice all most fascinating. then I lost all
speech in Kurzweil completely.
I turned all off, and on at intervals. Kurzweil loaded up and said as
normal last Document not saved I scanned and waited no word not a squeak. I
then remembered K.11 has a Scan in word facility. Yes there is a problem a
runntime Dialogue but if you can see or guess which way you put the paper
in you can outwit that. it is the rotation that causes it. Late last night
for no reason all was normal again. I cannot explain this but often turning
all equipment off and forgetting for a while seems to cure many problems. I
expect that happens to other people not just me.
