[bcab] Re: hal/supernova

Hi Jane,

There is no real difference to Hal version 8 on the Internet. The only
difference is that it works with Vista. In other words, if you have Version
7, there is no need to update, unless you are moving to Vista.

All the best

Steve

dear Joe,
I am a user of Hal, and i find that version 7 is very good on the web and
you have a applications key you can use and a building list with caps lock
and 1 which makes life very much easier, but i believe, that Jonathan
Fisher, who you do know, as you helped him out as he is with Demon, is about
to get the new improved version of Hal, so he will send you another message
when he is up and running, apparently the new version of Hal, is supposed to
be better and it does support vista and is better on the internet, making it
easier for the end user.
I hope that this helps.
Perhaps you will let us know your findings on this list, once they have been
compiled.
all the best
