Good friday to you all.
I am having problems using pivot tables in either excel 2000 or
2003. I can't get either JFW or WE to focus on the buttons to move
the fields on to the table grid, both screen readers sit on the ok,
cancel buttons and go no further. I can see some of the elements with
the window-eyes mouse, and the jfw mouse, but I can't do anything
with them. Drag and drop doesn't work.
I don't think I can see a pivot table when it has been created by a
colleague.
I can't find anything in the screen readers' documentation on this
topic either. So I guess some of the questions are,
Can pivot tables be accessed by any screen reader with speech output?
System access, for example.
What do users need to do to access these damn tables using either WE
or JFW? is there a work around? an alternative approach?
BTW we're talking xp, not vesper.
Thanks for any assistance.
Have yourselves, each and every one of you a grand holiday.
best,
Joe Paton
