Hi,
I am thinking of trying to set up my XP laptop with a couple of
accounts.
The idea being to use a nonprivileged account generally,
particularly when on the Internet, and a privileged one only
where necessary.
My concern though is with application and antivirus updates from
the Internet.
Is it possible with such updates, (for example of the antivirus
database or engin), to download the update with a nonprivileged
account, then come off the Internet and apply the update with
privileges, (if necessary).
I hope this makes sense - I am not used to this kind of thing on
laptops yet.
Regards,
Steve.
