Hi all:
absolutely blown away by this chuffingly fantastic train times website I've
jsut discovered which lets you find train times by including your start point,
destination, departure time and date in the web address.
the basic start address (note there are no w's) is http://traintimes.org.ukk
so for example to do the search i just did for trains from coventry to
birmingham next tuesday morning at 9.30 i used the url
http://traintimes.org.uk/coventry/birmingham/09:30/2007-02-27
a few things to note - the seperater for time is : (colon)not . (dot) and you
must state dates in reverse order eg year, month, date, using - (dash) as the
seperater.
results are displayed in a table and you will need your table reading
commands to make best use of the information which puts the price first.
having such easy access to ticket prices is a first in itself.
Enjoy
