[bcab] Re: btFilters

Tom

I?ve got a spare one you can have for free if you like. I?ll put my e-mail
address below my name so you can contact me off list with your address, and
I?ll post it off on Thursday when I go to town with a friend.

I am amazed at Maplin?s price. They usually offer very cheap prices.
Perhaps you mentioned BT, and they offered you the dearest because BT is
usually more expensive than most telephone services. I got mine when I
joined Tiscali broadband, but I don?t suppose it makes any difference whose
microfilter you have, as it?s just a little box with a plug to go into the
telephone socket and two sockets on the other side, one for the phone and
one for the modem.

Let me know off list if I can help.

I wanted a microfilter. Reckoned about 5 quid. Went into Maplins and they
produced something for £13.

I see filters on google for about £2. Just want a Bogstandard one. What
should I have been asking for and why the £13 apart from the fact that
somebody might pay it?
