Hi Tiddy, Thank you for your message.I believe that the folder on the laptop from which I wish to copy the information is already set up to share with the desktop, but I will make certain of this before attempting to copy the data over.
As I said in my initial message, it's not that I can't wait for the sighted help, it's just that if a situation arises where I need to go ahead and transfer the data before sighted help is available, I was wanting some clarification on what I needed to do to accomplish the transfer.
Having read both George's message and your own, I now feel that if necessary, I could transfer the files successfully without sighted help, but I'd need to copy them and get someone sighted to check that they were all copied over before actually deleting them from my laptop machine.
