Friends Reunited is a somewhat complicated website, but I find it very good and
useful. A recent
thing that they added, is the ability to email contacts from your old school
even if you have a free
guest account. This really wound me up a short while ago when "a blast from
the past" got in touch
and I couldn't actually contact them unless I paid.
They must have a very busy development team because they are always adding new
features.
Alex I would have thought that cookies would be the normal way for a sign in
website to save your
preferences. However if not, it may be done via the site database, so try the
"preferences" link
and any settings changes you made may be alterable there.

Hi again Darren and all,
Darren, I tried your suggestion of deleting cookies and then going back to
the site, but although I had to re-enter my e-mail address and password, it
said welcome back, and did not give me the option of seeing the person I was
looking for.
