Hi Alex,
I don't use friends reunited but I suggest you try writing back to
support again and explaining you can't find those people, suggest it's
probably because you accidentally pressed that button, and now they
don't come up in the search and see if they have any response. Also
ask them if there's a place in your preferences/somewhere else, which
you could say you may be missing, where you can undo what you did with
that button. If they're not coming up in the search, and there's no
way of undoing what you did, it sounds like a pretty fatal flaw in
their system. Unless those people happen to have left the website in
the time in between you pressing that button and doing the search,
which depending on how long that period was, doesn't seem at all
likely.
