I use MS word 2003 and you cannot type upside down, however you can rotate
by ninety degrees by using a text box. It is not what you want but it might
be easier than the real solution which is to use 'Word Art'
Word Art is essentially visual and can be rotated to any angle.
If this is of any use you can find out how to use it with MS Word help.
Should you need further halp, please E mail me off list.
Kind regards

Subject: [bcab] Word upside down
Hallo listers.
Apologies if this is a daft question; it's for my mother. Who is
sighted (when she can find her right glasses), hard of hearing
and has arthriticy fingers.
Is it possible to make Word write text upside down?
She is writing course guides for church bible study and
discussion groups. She wants to put in Questions for Group
Discussion, and then put answers upside down at the bottom of
the page.
Is there a way to make Word do this? - other than the obvious
one of leaving space at the bottom of the page, putting the
answers on a new page, and feeding the sheet of paper back into
the printer upside down. And then fiddling about to get the
page numbers right again on the next page, I presume.
She's using Windows XP; she didn't know which version of WOrd
other than "The one that comes with XP." My dad used to sort
out all the techie things, and died suddenly leaving her rather
struggling with computer things.
Many thanks in anticipation.
Rosemary
