Another trick could be to virtualize the current window with ctrl +Jaws key
+ w. Thiss will pop the word count window up in the virtual buffer with the
virtual cursor at the top, so you can comfortably arrow down and review the
various bits of info. You then need to press escape to exit the virtual
buffer. Not as quick as insert and b, but good when you need to review the
info at your own pace.
(note that the suggested keystroke may not be available in older versions of
Jaws, not quite sure when it was introduced.)
Stay well
Laurent

Try the standard keystroke for reading the current dialogue box, insert plus
B! A rather useful basic keystroke for Jaws which has a habit of not reading
such dialogues for you whatever settings you try!

Subject: [bcab] Word count
Hi all
Is there a way of getting Jaws 9 to read out a word count in Word 2003
without reverting to the Jaws keys? As it stands, I go into tools/word count
and all I get is the close button announced.
Cheers
Barry
