Hi
if you have the original Xp disk there is an option to repair rather than
reinstall. Reinstalling an operating system will wipe all the data from the
hard drive.
I don't know the nature of your problems but it may be a registry problem.
More information about what is happening may help to resolve your issues.
Kind regards
Charles Crisp

The best way forward here is to re-install XP Pro on top of itself. But
backup all your data first.
George.

Subject: [bcab] Windows utilities
Morning all,
Does anyone have or know where I can get my hands on a free Windows XP Pro
repair utility? My Windows is giving trouble and I think I have some
corrupted files or certainly some cleaning out. I have done all the usual
disk cleanups etc but still have strange problems.
Looking forward to some help,
B S GEORGIOU
