Martin grab the windows messenger installer and re-install over the top of
the one you have.
A google will grab this for you.
Like yourself I've been using WM for years and never switched.
Untill last week when I tryed out Windows Live Messenger. It's very like
Windows Messenger and not really like Msn Messenger.
If you turn all the rubbish toolbars etc off it's quite functional.
I've used it with Window eyes v6 and Jaws v6.
Jaws v6 works grand with it.

Subject: [bcab] Windows Messenger crashing
Hi All
I've been using XP's Windows Messenger for years now and have never upgraded
to MSM Live.
However, today when I tried to sign in I got a dialog box asking me to send
or do not send error report.
It doesn't matter which option I choose. When ever I click on send or do
not send messenger crashes out.
I've tried this several times and no joy.
I have no messenger. Can anybody advise?
Cheers
Martin
