Hi Alan and List,
I solved my problem by purchasing CDR audio disks and used
them instead of the CDRW disks I had origionally used and
these now play on all machines.

Just a thought, Jim, - there are some recordable disks
particularly for
recording music for hi-fi, but which do not necessarily work
on some CD
players. You seem to have used the right format, but the
other thing to
consider is what alex touched upon, - when you come to do
the burn part of
the operation, have you nominated an audio disk or a data
disk, as the data
disk, even with audio files will be restricted to play on a
computer or only
on certain players I think.
