[bcab] Re: Why would messages be deleted from a folder when compacting in outlook Express 6?

Hi George and all,
After sending the message of my own which I am now replying to, I found two copies of a file referred to as bcab.back in my recycle bin, and have restored them, and this may mean that I do not need the link that George so kindly provided, however, it prompts the question of how I put the messages from the .back files into the relevant folder in Outlook Express.
If George, or any other member of the list can assist me with this please,I would appreciate it.
