Welcome to the new BCAB discussion list!
 
I have moved your subscriptions from Manchester, thanks to Adrian, to this
new Freelists BCAB discussion list. Those of you who had opted for the
Digest format should continue to receive a daily digest.
 
I propose that the old list will close on Wednesday morning, giving you all
Tuesday to check out that the new list is working  correctly.  To send
messages to this new list you should send your emails to:
bcab@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
 
It had been hoped that we would have a page set up on the BCAB web site so
you could administer your subscription directly from there.  Unfortunately
we are trying to move the web site and we have encountered all sorts of
petty issues with our old ISP.  This should be resolved shortly and we hope
that  by Sight Village the new BCAB web site will be in place.
 
If you want to make any changes to your subscription go to:
www.freelists.org
 
Select the link to login and remember to use the email address that you used
to subscribed to the BCAB list. Tab to the logon button.
 
On the next screen there is a list box with all of the lists available on
the Freelists site you have to select the BCAB list.  The quickest way is to
activate the list box, type B to move to the first list starting with B the
'page down' a couple of times.  That should get you close to the BCAB list.
 
After that it is quite easy to use the site to update your options for the
list e.g. use digest or set vacation.
 
Once the new BCAB web site is in place we will include the link in the
footer of messages to the list.
 
Adrian will be moving over the archive from our old list so these will be
available soon.  I'll post a message to the list when they are there.
