[bcab] Re: WebAnywhere: a free screen reader accessed via the web

Hi Steve,

When I go to System Access to Go's Website (<http://www.satogo.com/ >), it asks me to download an executable file and install it. Does it automatically only work on Windows with IE (without any installation)?

Hi,

Just to clarify, you don't need to install anything with System Access To Go
either.

All the best

Hi Adrian,

Compared to others, to use Webanywhere the user does not need to install any
special software, the user can just use a conventional browser such as
Firefox and IE. You can access the Web from any computer without installing any application. There might be cases where the user does not have write permissions to install application on a computer or the user does not have
an application in a stick or on a CD, for example libraries, etc.

And Webanywhere is open source:

Hi Steve,

It's all been done before. http://www.satogo.com, and it is available
now.
Not only that, it offers magnification as well.

All the best
