Tools, Settings, General, Security.  Arrow down to about the fifth option,
and it says something like Lock phone when slide is closed.  This is set to
yes.  Hit it with the joystick and change it to no.

Yes, but I believe it is not a Talks problem.  I think, though I haven't
verified it yet, that what is happening is because you are locking the
keyboard, by sliding the slider closed, you are preventing the screen from
updating physically, so Talks has nothing to say.

 

The only solution is to turn off locking when the slider is closed, if you
want to use it in this manner.  If you want instructions on how to do this,
let me know.

Hi.  I have just recently installed Wayfinder Access on my N95 and have
noticed a little glitch and wondered if anyone else who was running this had
the same problem.

 

I have changed talks so that it now no longer mutes when the keyboard is
locked but have discovered that when I'm using Wayfinder and have the slider
in the position where neither the mp3 pad or the keyboard is showing I do
not receive verbal instructions from talks.  Has anyone else had this
problem, worked out why this is happening and how you resolved it if at all?
