Thanks wendy. I.m intriged as to what doesn't work with Jaws in this sequence of events and why? The reason I'm going into further detail is that I have a cunning plan to see if I can link up the Millionaire Game with Steve Crawford from Azabat, who produces accessible games, including quizzes, to see if they could work together to render the game accessible...then to suggest that a small percentage of takings could be donated to EyeT4All. As you may know, I'm already in contact with the programme to try to put celebrities on to their charity specials to play to raise for the project. So if I could be told what makes the game inaccessible without sighted help, I will at least make a valiant attempt to kill the accessibility and the fund-raising birds with one stone. So, we now know that Millionaire can't be played independently with Jaws. Could someone now tell me why, or if the game is played online, please send a message, off-list, to my home email address, clive.lever@xxxxxxxxxxx and I'll go check it out. Within the game you press the following keys: After the introductory music Chris asks you what you want to do. Press S to start the game, O to go into an options menu, and Q to quit. The options menu has V for video high quality, U for volume up, D for volume down, and M to go back to the main menu. Having pressed S to start, you are asked how many people want to play. Press number 1, 2, 3 or 4. You are then asked to type in your name. No need to press enter for forms, just type it and then press enter to continue. To answer a question press A, B, C or D. Press F1 for fifty fifty, F2 for phone a friend, and F3 for ask the audience. Within the game none of these keys will do anything else, e.g, F1 will not open a help screen. If you want to walk away after a question, press W. Chris will then ask you if you are sure, so press Y. You then need to press enter to continue, Y again, then Q to quit. Press Y to say yess to quitting, and you are out of the game. It is a pity that screenreaders won't work with the game, and it might be as well to have some sighted help on hand in case you get into the wrong menu and forget where you are. My problem, however, is that I can't get the game to open now that my friend has gone. All he said he did was to double click on the desktop icon, and I assume that pressing W to select the icon and then pressing enter would do the same, but apparently not.
