[bcab] Re: USB cassette decks

Hi Eleanor. Possibly a USB cassette deck could be used to record stuff but I
certainly wouldn't choose to do this myself personally as I wouldn't want to
create recordings on cassette anymore. For me, cassette tape is history as a
useful medium.
What I am interested in is digitising matter on old cassettes i.e. playing it
into the computer thence to be stored and played as MP3 files or on CD or
whatever.
Regards and happy new year.

Tim would this mean that the USB tape deck or whatever could then be used to
record, say a programme on the radio to the tape? I know you would say about
Listen again etc, but I am thinking of a friend who is often interviewed and I
record via the Internet. However I am not using a direct lead.

Hello Everyone. A couple of weeks ago here there was a thread about USB
turn tables and someone said they used a USB tape deck. Can anyone recommend a
good make or model plus where to get it from? Thank you very much.
