[bcab] Re: Train times

Hi Derek,

Not necessarily. The thing I like about using web sites, is you can play
"What if" games. In other words, if I leave a bit earlier or later, what
time will I get there? If I go a different route, will it be quicker?
Eventually, a phone assistant would probably lose patience with you <Smile>,
whereas online, you can take as long as you like, and more importantly, you
get cheaper tickets sometimes if you shop online. I often get vouchers from
The Train Line which makes my journey cheaper.

So yes, ring up by all means, but I'll carry on booking online <Smile>.

All the best

Steve

Hi Alastair
Yes www.traintimes.org.uk good site.

Now I am wondering if one was to simply phone 08457 484950
for national enquiries, would this not be quicker than using any web stie.
