If using Disk Keeper I'd say put it through a Reboot Defrag the first 1
or 2 times.

This will ensure that only DK is running and it will speed the process
up because nothing else will be reading/writing to the drive/s.

It is not uncommon for the defragmentation process to crawl like a snail
first time round.  I had to leave our Server's defrag running overnight
on the system drive, and it only has a 10GB drive. The other data drives
went through in less than an hour.

Hi Alexander:

Good point about how you would know when the defragment is finished
running without Super Nova running.

If you haven't let defrag run to completion in a long time, I suppose
your drive may be badly fragmented, but don't know.
