[bcab] Text Boxes in Excel

Hi List,

I am using JAWS 8, office 2003 and XP Pro.

When I opened a spreadsheet , JAWS did not report that there was a text box 
with information in it.  Can anyone suggest what I can do (if anything) to get 
JAWS to identify the presence of a text box and read out its contents.  A 
colleague told me that the text box was not associated with any particular cell 
and I suppose must be overlaid on a portion of the spreadsheet.
