Hi,
I've really started using Supernova as my assistive technology solution for
some voluntary work that I'm doing. Initially, I'm getting on OK with it, but
there's a couple of queries that I've got. I'm not sure what version it is,
but the voice on it is Carol. My queries are:
1. Microsoft Outlook
In Outlook, I'm impreseed with the new facility of announcing whether a message
has been read or not. The only thing I'm not too confident about is opening
attachments. When in an email, I press shift and tab to go up to the
attachments, and then press enter to open the attachment. However, all I'm
getting is a pinging sound. Is there a way that the attachments need to be
selected, or isn't enter the right button to press to open an attachment in
Microsoft Outlook?
2. Excel.
I was actually quite disappointed with the amount of verbal support given to
Excel as it didn't appear to announce what cell I was in or anything. I hadn't
changed any settings, but to be quite honest, I'd have expected more from the
standard settings. Is there anything that I can do to increase the verbosity
in Excel so that it tells you something useful?
Many thanks for your help, and I hope to hear from you soon.
Karina
