  Tom,

Nothing like an interesting problem to keep me out of mischief!

Your email address is in the subscribers list, so I wonder if emails are
being caught in your spam filter? Could you try posting a message to the list
and let me know what happens?

  Thanks,
  Tink.

  Hi Tink,

  You're going to love me!

Still not subscribed despite your efforts. Not so critical now as I've got my
home comuter recovered, but, a techy prob.

    Tom,

I've had a rummage through the FAQ for Freelists, but can't turn up
anything that seems to shed any light on this problem. I've subscribed your
address manually though, so with luck you should now receive emails to that
address.

Sorry it's taken so much effort to get you subscribed!

    Regards,
    Tink.

    Hi Tink,

Thanks for help. Using outlook express and basically getting a message
after a day or so that there is a problem talking to a server.

Anyway, if you can subscribe for me, I'd appreciate it.

    Work e-mail is Welfarerights@xxxxxxxx

      Tom,

When you reply to the email, what happens? Do you get an email back
to confirm or deny the subscription? Does nothing happen? I know that Outlook
can sometimes have trouble in dealing with these kind of requests, but in that
case you should get an email back saying something like "invalid parameters".

If you'd like to send me your work address, I'll subscribe you
manually, if that would help.

      Regards,
      Tink.

Still can't get on from work. Get to the stage where it asks you to
reply, but, when I do, nothing. Anybody having more success.

      Tom
