thank you Wendy I do that more or less I have created the folders as the
need arose. I use control and Y to move around a bit. says currently Local
Folders opened seven items In box opened 13 Items mentions levels like
Level 1 or 3. You seemed alarmed I had so many in my inbox, that is because
my filing has not been done. I only want 2 folders to go directly their own
folder all others I need to see first in the In box then I can decide to
keep move and file delete. I was told I could have many as I wished and as
you saw Phil Medway had a good few. He may have in his ten folders a lot or
little. I mark mine to help me such as A friends name, or miscellaneous.
or Technical and so on. I can look them over and delete them but for
someone like me I know the moment I get rid of things I wish I had not. I
do believe there is a clever way of finding a particular Email out of many.
I have forgotten it. I think you need to recall most of the Title to find
it so if you remember the Subject you can find it. I read this last year
on jaws list written to someone it was composed by Steve Griffiths. Now
that I have lost with my hard drive failure. I did recall he said it was
in advanced options. However you need a good memory for it to work. I tried
it the time on one called Cables away by George and it worked but I cannot
recall the details. The Options in OE are rather confusing. thanks for
your help.

To move a message from the in box to another folder do the following:
With the message open so that you can read it, press control shift V.
You will then be in the list of folders.
Cursor up and down till you get to the folder you want, and just press
enter.
For example, if you have a folder called BCAB, press control shift V, then
cursor up from in box to BCAB and just press enter.
No need to worry about cutting and pasting. The message is then moved
from
the in box, and you will stop all duplications.
Another simple trick is to remember that, when you are in a list, you can
often press the first letter of the item you want. For example, when in
the
folder list, press J for JAWS. If you hear something else, just press J
again until you hear the right name and press enter.
I do hope this helps.
