Hello Leonie
I am deeply interested in any research on speech, but find I cannot access
the site. Clicking the link given gives 404 - Page not found. Highlighting
and Ctrl-Enter gives no result. Can you kindly supply other instructions?
Regards
Tony

Evening,
There's been quite a flurry of requests for help on list recently,
so please forgive another. It's something quite different this time and
even
my sighted other half had quite a laugh with it.
The University of Edinburgh is conducting research into synthesized
speech. The study asks people to listen to a variety of audio files and
provide feedback on their quality. To access the study, go here:
http://groups.inf.ed.ac.uk/blizzard/blizzard2008/english/register-EVI.
> html
Originally, the study wasn't accessible. They've worked on it a bit
and it's pretty much there now. The main advice I would give to anyone
taking part, would be to use Control + Enter to activate the links to the
audio files.
This will open the web based audio player in a new window. The
window itself won't be accessible, but to replay the file again just
refresh
the page using f5. Once you get the hang of it, it's quite simple.
Regards,
Léonie.
