*red face*

I didnt' readthe screen properly it seems it downloads applications as it needs them and I'd some server items running which of course slowed the connection down.

Quite a clever thing.

Subject: [bcab] SpeakOn new features release 1.4 - usability improvements

Hello List

A new SpeakOn feature release 1.4 is available. This version is about
usability improvements for new and experienced users. For those who don't
know, SpeakOn is free, self-voicing software which can find, download or
stream, and play, text and audio media. SpeakOn can handle the following
media: DAISY CDs, music on your computer, podcasts, internet radio, TNAUK
newspapers, magazines and media guides, Seeing Ear library books and the
LastFM internet music service.

SpeakOn is available free from:
http://www.a-technic.net/speakon.htm

New features include:
More help features which are all available from a single Help menu.

All key commands can be operated from menus so that users can explore
SpeakOn features, and key commands which are used infrequently don't need to
be remembered.

Version updates can be checked and downloaded from within SpeakOn itself.

There are improved settings, podcast handling and minor bug fixes.

The revised and updated SpeakOn manual is available from:
http://www.a-technic.net/SpeakOn/docs/SpeakOn/ht/SpeakOn.htm

More details on the latest features are available in the 'What's new'
section of the online manual which can also be accessed from within directly
from within the new version of SpeakOn.

Enjoy!

Regards,
Isaac
