[bcab] Re: Software help

Peter,
As far as I know, Ghost works with retrospective versions of windows, but is not very accessible. You may need sighted help. I last used it about a year ago, and it worked fine, despite the need for sighted assistance. You may want to look at clonedisk. I've never used it, but stay tuned, as I know a man (girl actually) who has.

Subject: [bcab] Software help

Hi All,

For the first time ever in living memory, a question to the list has gone entirely unanswered for a whole day. I thought maybe the subject-line might have looked uninteresting, so have changed it in hopes that somebody might have some thoughts.

My main question is: what is the best software to use to make an image of a hard disk, in order to keep all system files, registry and so-on intact? The one I know about is Norton Ghost, but I remember there were doubts about accessibility, so any other contenders?

As a supplementary point I really need it to run under Windows 98, so would either need 98 support, or an older version.

Can anyone help with this please?? Pretty please???

Best,

Peter
