[bcab] Re: Software help

I have used Acronis version 10 and it works, its really easy to use and will
create a system backup in about half and hour to an hour depending on your
hard drive size; it also does incremental backups as well. The best thing of
all is the restore feature it restores your system completely, with a couple
of clicks with the mouse, ready for user to use. I don't know about Windows
98, I use it with XP home.

Help this helps

Subject: [bcab] Software help

Hi All,

For the first time ever in living memory, a question to the list has
gone entirely unanswered for a whole day. I thought maybe the
subject-line might have looked uninteresting, so have changed it in
hopes that somebody might have some thoughts.

My main question is: what is the best software to use to make an
image of a hard disk, in order to keep all system files, registry and
so-on intact? The one I know about is Norton Ghost, but I remember
there were doubts about accessibility, so any other contenders?

As a supplementary point I really need it to run under Windows 98, so
would either need 98 support, or an older version.

Can anyone help with this please?? Pretty please???

Best,

Peter
