Hi.
        You'll need to find a way, in the router, to do port forwarding,
that is, to forward the ports for your servers (80 for web, 110 for POP3,
and so on). Have the router forward the ports to the IP, preferably static,
that your server system has. See

Hi All.

I'm looking for networking and internet gurus!

I have setup an FTP and WWW server on my main machine on my network.
This used to be directly connected to the internet with a USB ADSL modem
and then on to the rest of my network via the network card. (basically a
gateway). On this machine I run a POP, FTP and WWW server which is
accessed from both the network and internet sides.

I've just switched service providers who supplied me with upgraded
equipment and the ADSL is now combined with the router.

My question is I can still see the POP, FTP and WWW servers from the
network side, (as no IP address translation is needed this hasn't
changed from the way it used to work) however it will not be possible
for this to be seen from the internet side as the router now manages the
connection. (in the old system because the ADSL modem was directly
connected to the server it had 2 IP addresses, one for the network, one
for the internet connection.)

What settings do I need to look for when configuring my router so that
it resolves server addresses down to local IP addresses on my network.

The help system that came with the router is pretty noddy and doesn't go
in to details about how to do this sort of thing.
