thanks Karl that is indeed useful.

Others are fn with left/right arrow turn volume up and down
FN with pageup/pagedown home/end not sure what fn withb cursor up/down does, 
thought this adjusted screen brightness but maybe not.

What I have got so far:

Esc: Standby
f1:
f2: battery charge with display manager
f3:
f4: external monitor
f5: backlight on or off
f6: mute
f7: magic doctor
f8: speed up manager
f9: wireless on and off
f10: Touchpad off and on
f11: num lock on and off
f12: Scroll lock

Some of them don't seem to work after uninstalling some Samsung programs;
well, that's what I think as I have uninstalled them and I can't turn the
backlight off.
I don't know whether you need to enable hotkeys for some functions somewhere
or not.
