Hi Karl.
This is of some help but unfortunately the details of key presses for
increasing and decreasing volume, muting sound etc that use the FN key are
all given as graphics so not sure what keys are referred to.

On your query about changing the brightness of the screen, I note that there
is a facility that shows up in the system tray called "Hot key setup" or
something similar. Do you maybe have to run that before the function keys
work?
