Hi,
I have the Office CD files on a memory stick as I can never be bothered to put
the CD in when I need to. I also copy the files to the c: drive, as if the
disk is needed again, then it finds it automatically.
This is an E-Open licensed version that you can download from Microsoft, but I
have done the same with the CD version.
Thanks.
Andrew.

Hi Graham
Yes, but could you copy the executable Office files to a memory stick or
external drive? I wonder if Microsoft would be a bit too cute to let you do
that.

coppy the contents of a cd to a memory stick or get a USB drive such as an
external DVD writer.
