[bcab] Re: Recovered files after a computer crash whilst MS Word is open

Hi Jane,

Word 2007 is all very fine, but we get the version of Word that our
corporate system supports, and don't have the luxury of choosing to
upgrade before the rest of the organisation feels it's ready. In short,
great thought, but I don't think I'd get away with it.

Best,
Clive

Subject: [bcab] Recovered files after a computer crash whilst MS
Word is open

            Hello all,

There have been a couple of occasions recently when my PC has
frozen whilst I'm in word. This has happened in such a way that I can
do nothing except switch the computer off and back on again to re-boot.
The traditional Three-fingered slute (control alt delete) doesn't even
do it.

Then when I go back into Word, my braille display tells me there
are recovered data files, but this is not spoken by Jaws 9.

Q: When I go back into word, how do I shift the focus so that I
can browse through the list of recovered objects and decide what I want
to save?

        Thanks,
        Clive
