This is interesting. Its the second enquiry I've had about this in the last
week, although the other enquiry did not concern jaws.
Progress is a database similar to access, i.e. applications can be writeen
using an ide which comes with the product. Progress 4 sounds a bit old to me
as they're on about version 8. Is this lady wishing to develop applications
using progress, or use an application written using progress. It used to be
reasonably accessible, but its a number of years since I used it. If she is
a developer, there are certainly a number of documentation disks which
contain documents written in accessible pdf format. The other difficulty is
this:
There is another product called progress which is an accounts database with
various other extentions. I've had some experience importing from this, but
as to accessibility, I haven't a clue.
Dave.

Subject: [bcab] Progress 4 database & Jaws
Good evening,
I received an enquiry this evening, from a lady using Jaws and a
database application called Progress 4.
If anyone has any knowledge of this database, could suggest any
training or tutorials for a Jaws user, or could offer any advice on using
it, it would be tremendously helpful. I've never come across this database
before and am at something of a loss as to how I can help.
Thanks,
Tink.
