Yes of course it can be done. I have it on every other computer. I just want 
the icons down beside the start button. Maybe task bar is not the right name 
for what I want.

How do I do this please?  I have the NC10 and I do not have any programmes 
on the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen.  Sometimes I like if I am in a 
Word document just to go down and open either of the said programmes without 
having to minamise the word document or to go through the Start Menu.#
