Karina,
Yes, with PDF you can create forms that either require completing and
printing, or completing and submitting. In the latter case, they work in a
similar way to web forms, transmitting the data back to a central server.

Subject: [bcab] PDF Files
Hi,
I'm currently job hunting. I've seen a job that I'm interested in applying
for and have downloaded the application form and job description and person
specification, all of which are in PDF files. It states that you can
complete the application form electronically, but I'm a bit confused,
because I thought that the purpose of adobe PDF files are so that they
cannot be ammended or changed in any way. Is this the case, or can you fill
in forms in the form of a PDF document?
Many thanks in anticipation for any assistance that you can give, I look
forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Karina
