Hi Karina and Kerry.

I can't answer your questions directly because as others have said, PDF 
documents are quite simply not the format to distribute documents in if the 
user is meant to change them.  I assume that in the case of the application 
forms, the user is meant to print out the PDF document and write it by hand. 
This is clearly not accessible.  There was a bit of a fad a while ago about 
getting experts to analyse handwriting in application forms but I have not 
heard of it recently so hopefully this practise is now discredited.

Kerry, can you explain a little more about the process taking place here? 
distributing a PDF for the user to change just seems an odd thing to do.

Hi Kerry,
I'm in exactly the same situation with job application forms as some of
them are in PDF and no other format and won't let me do anything with
them.  Is there a way of overcoming this, because what I want to do is
add my information in electronically.  It seems a bit of a silly format
to me if I'm honest, why not just have a read-only word document, but if
you want to change it you have to put a password in.
Any ideas about how I can overcome the application forms situation?
