Subject: Calling ALL blind and Partially sighted Shoppers
I have been working with Boots Plc and particularly the Victoria Centre
store in Nottingham to try and improve the in store retail experience
for Blind and partially sighted shoppers.
Following the set up of a retail focus group in Nottingham and
developing close working links with the store we have decided to pilot a
one to one shopping experience in store from Tuesday 5th May - Friday
8th May. This is designed to give blind and partially sighted shoppers
an improved shopping experience.
This could simply be a navigation exercise, so shoppers can get to know
the store better, or possibly more in depth information about any store
products and services with option of 'free' makeovers', skin care advice
and much more.
Clearly to make this a success we need to ensure this week is utilised.
As such I would be grateful if you could spread the word and encourage
anyone who may be interested to come along!
If you know of anyone who may be interested please call me on 01509
632409 or E-mail ben.jackson@xxxxxxxxxxx and I will follow up
individually.
Many Thanks
Ben
