I an using an N 96. D2go will not work unless you have the latest firmware and 
you will not have that if your phone is branded.

Subject: [bcab] Nokia N series and talks?


Hello. I was going to use a nokia N 96 mobile phone as from what I can
gather it is compatible with wayfinder access and I like the design of the
phone. However I am having trouble finding out if this phone is currently
compatible with talks. It seems that talks only exists for series 60 or
series 80 phones, will one of these distributions run on an N series phone?
Also on a slightly different note is there an open source alternative to
talks, mobile-speak etc?
