Kevin – talks key is on the right of the phone it is the indented key above the 
upper volume control key wich is the upper of the 2 slightly sticky out 
buttons. The lower one being the volume down key. There are 2 of those indented 
keys, the lower being the talks, or edit if your press it twice key, the upper 
being the voice recorder key.  Re the other part of your question, yes you can 
turn all the main screen items on and off. You can also assign short cuts to 
each of the 4 sides of the small inner square which surrounds the central 
select button on the nav pad on the front of the phone effectively giving you 6 
hot keys rather than just soft keys 1 and 2. Of the 4 keys in 2 pairs to left 
and right of the central nav control within the d-pad, like terry I can’t 
remember what any of the 3 other than top right are (top right being contacts), 
I think conference call is one of the lefthand 2 but can’t be sure.  The only 
draw back I’ve found with the e65 is that as it’s a slide phone you have to 
open it inorder to be able to check the time with talks key 9. Would be nice if 
you could assign a time check to another key combination. But it’s no big deal 
really.

I'm trying to set up a Nokia E65 on the Vodafone network.  In the main Vodafone 
UK window, there are various options that can be chosen, such as Messaging, 
Web, Camera, etc.  Can these be turned off?

I've worked out some of the keys, but if anybody could provide a brief 
description of the keyboard layout, I would be very grateful.  In particular, I 
can't find the Talks key.
