I still use Nero 6 with Jaws and no scripts at all are necessary. It
certainly worked fine when I had Jaws 8 so you do not need to upgrade for
Nero 6 at least . I am not sure about later versions of Nero.
The main hurdle to overcome is to remember that when you get the Nero
start-up you must press shift tab and not tab as you might imagine until you
get to the DVD or CD combo box. Pressing the up or down cursor key will
select CD or DVD options from this combo box.
Wait a few seconds press shift tab again and you should be able to cursor
up and down the media types. Response may not be immediate as it sometimes
takes Nero a few seconds to switch between media types and Jaws will not say
anything for a few seconds. So be patient during this stage. so for
example if you select CD in the combo box press shift tab again you will be
able to cursor up and down between Audio CD ISO data etc. Press enter on the
media type you want and Nero will start. If you want to select more advance
options in the start-up window then straightforward tabbing will get you
through the rest of the dialogue.
Once in the Nero program there are four panes. The 2 panes on the right
display the contents of your computer and the 2 panes on the left are for
your CD or DVD. tabbing will move you between these Explorer type double
window pane with a tree view in one pane for the folders and a list view in
the second pane in which you can select individual files. As long as you
know how to navigate tree views by using the up down and right and left
cursor keys it is pretty straightforward. . There is another similar double
pane which will show files once you have copied them across to burn onto
the CD or DVD .
The simple way to drag files from the Explorer type window into to your CD
or DVD disc is to press control plus 1 on the file or folder you want copied
across.
Other controls are easily accessed through the menu system navigated in the
normal way.
Hope this gets you started.

Does Nero need a Jaws script? I'm on Jaws 8, soon to move up to Jaws 11
