Hello Dave

Longshot. Once had a problem with an over strict password that checked the 
codepage as well as the characters and refused access unless the password was 
typed in using Windows Latin-1.

    Hi Dave,

     

    Are you getting an error, or is it just saying the password or username are 
incoorect?  Also, be aware that if you select the user name or password and 
copy it to the clipboard, then paste it, make absolutely sure there are no 
extra spaces at the end of it, because that too will make the password 
incorrect.

and password which don't appear to work. Could it be a setting in ie7 that is
