Hi all,
I do not seem to face this eloquence problem in jaws 10. However, what I
have noticed, is a tendency, when selecting text, to ignore the end of
lines, going into the next one, (I do that via my alva), and also, that,
whereas copy/paste etc, commands work fine, I tried to print a selected
portion of a word document, and instead, it started printing the whole of
it. It seems so that printing a selected portion needs to be transferred
into a new window. One other thing I noticed, bearing the problem with
grade two translator I have reported, is in Blackwell's Synergy. I wanted
to read an article in one of its journals, Early Medieval Europe in html
mode, and found that when I clicked on a link to bring a footnote, I would
be led to the botom of the document, having to scroll upwards to try and get
footnote 1 out of 123, and eventually failed because the text seemed
rotating as I scrolled upwards. Whether it's the same problem related with
the lack of grade 2 I do not know, but I did not face this issue with
previous versions. I am only reporting my findings, just in case this can
help others, or someone might be able to advise me.
Cheers,
Panagiotis

Subject: [bcab] Re: Eloquence and Jaws 10
Hi folks,
Yes, I have noticed that this happens too. The only thing that I can
remember crashing Eloquence in previous versions is a certain combination
of letters, but at least that was something within one's control! Another
thing I've noticed is that sometimes, after I have restarted the machine
following something like this, Jaws appears to be unauthorised and opens
the activation dialog. I wasted two counts on my authorisation before
realising that the way to get round this seems to be to unload and then
reload Jaws. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?
Best,
Mark
